In contrast to Link’s version, the house now feels like a home, thanks to the feminine touch of Zelda. The table now has a lovely tea set with fresh flowers as a centerpiece. She’s also filled the place with photos of the people and lands of Hyrule.

It's been pointed out that the people of Hateno village don't seem to recognize Link, alongside many other people in Hyrule who Link would have spoken to in Botw. However I don't think this is an oversight on the dev's part. /r/Zelda is the unofficial hub for anything and everything The Legend of Zelda - the iconic Nintendo series. Review: ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’ is video game bliss
The two starter rooms will be placed in the world, and you can use Ultrahand to move and assemble them as you please. Speak with Granteson when you’re done building to lock the changes in place. You can speak with Granteson again to purchase additional rooms, like a kitchen, gallery, blessing room, and more. You can now head back to Hudson and Rhondson’s house and buy a plot of land from Rhondson for 1,500 rupees.

The stairs on the outside lead up to an open-air section of the home that overlooks Terry Town. The location of the stairs also adds a great balance to the home exterior with the stable on the opposing side of the house. Initially, I thought snooping around Zelda’s house may give me some insight into where to find her golden horse. But while reading her diary on the second level I instead discovered a note about a secret room she had added to the home and instantly wondered how to find Zelda’s secret room.

Once you’ve finished this Side Adventure, speak to Rhondson at Hudson Constructions. She will offer you a plot of land to build your dream house for 1,500 rupees. Pay the fee and head to the plot of land on the cliff southeast of Tarrey Town. Speak with Granteson and he’ll get you started off with two rooms for your home, a foyer and a bedroom. At the top of the hill, if you follow the path outside of Tarrey Town, then South, you’ll see a plot of land and a construction booth waiting for you.

Instead of a display of weapons from the previous game, the house's interiors has been redecorated to resemble a simple living room and kitchen space. The walls now include several photos, one of which resembles Zelda on a field of flowers. Citizens will tell of sightings of her like she’s a deity prone to apparitions, and that will send Link off to another town in search of rumors of her whereabouts. But along the way we’ll encounter a host of diverting quests, the vast majority of them connected to Zelda’s disappearance or rebuilding Hyrule. Everything, such as going off and spending a few hours to investigate geoglyphs, propels Link forward, as we never know when a vision of Zelda will appear — or a newspaper journalist will have a new Zonai detail to share.

Up the stairs gives a very different, peaceful feel with a bedroom and prayer space combined together with a triangle room. There’s much I haven’t even encountered, such as rockets, but “Tears of the Kingdom” is constantly throwing hints at players that there is more to uncover. Any piece of greenery — or guts from an enemy — can become an elixir or a meal when placed near a flame, but instead of giving us a laundry list of items to hunt, we’re rewarded by improvising with what we have. Some puzzles, found in egg-like shrines throughout the lands, had me slowed simply because I forgot that whacking certain objects could unleash their electricity-like powers. But even then, the game was propelling me to look at and rethink my surroundings. There are no dead ends as long as the player keeps asking questions of the game.

On another page, she details how she wants to surprise him with a new Champion’s Tunic, which is now the Champion Leathers.
First, talk to Hudson and Rhondson while they are talking together at the Hudson Construction counter, then talk to Hudson separately. There are a few steps you will have to go through first before you can get Link a home in the kingdom. I have found it won’t take too much time, but still set yourself one to two hours aside for this one as there is a material collection process involved in the form of some flowers. Without further ado, here is all you need to do to get Link a house. I had great luck finding Sundelions directly above Tarrey Town, so use the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and fly over to platforms above the town.
After completing the Home on Arrange Side Quest, talk to Granteson and choose "I'll buy or preview rooms!" to see all room types that are available for purchase. What’s tricky about the way it’s worded in the entry is that the room is not actually accessible from inside the home. You will need to go around to the back of the home and climb down Zelda’s Secret Well. There is a platform at the bottom so while it’s not a far drop, I do recommend using the ladder or gliding so you don’t get unnecessary fall damage.
